Welcome to Beyond Betrayal
We’re so glad you’ve found your way here.
Beyond Betrayal is more than a companion to the Betrayal podcast. It’s a space we’ve created for anyone who has ever been impacted by betrayal – whether personally, professionally, or by simply bearing witness to the stories of others. It’s a place for listeners, survivors, seekers, and deeply curious.
Each week, we peel back the layers of what we explore on the show: the personal stories, the emotional aftermath, the systems that fail or protect, and remarkable resilience. But Beyond Betrayal isn’t just about unpacking trauma – it’s also about understanding, connection, and growth.
You do not need to identify as a survivor to be here. You don’t need to have all the answers, or even the right questions. All that’s required is a willingness to listen – to others, and to yourself.

Why We’re Doing This
When we launched Betrayal, we knew these stories would strike a nerve. What we didn’t expect was how many people would reach out and share their stories – of pain, confusion, resilience, healing, and strength.
Beyond Betrayal was created in response to that outpouring. It’s a way to honor those voices, to keep the conversation going, and to build a space that holds both the weight of these stories and the lightness that comes from sharing them.
Join Us
Whether you’ve been listening since Season 1 or just discovered the podcast – there’s a place for you here. This is a space where nuance is welcome, where compassion leads, and where silence is broken.
We hope you’ll read, reflect, and connect with us and one another.
And if you feel called to support this work, we’d be honored to have you as a paid subscriber.
Take good care,
Andrea Gunning and the Betrayal Team
